I just replaced all of my factory light bulbs with LED's today, except for the front running lights which I will do another day. But they are much more noticeable, and worth the money I had to pay (about $170). I figure anything I do to make myself more noticable to cars on the road is worth it. I skipped the license plate and trunk bulbs, I couldn't justify paying the extra money when the quality of light for those were just not worth it.

Here is where I got the list of bulbs for my MP3 250: http://modernvespa.com/forum/topic92833

Hi Fentonfred, I did the same thing about 3 months ago. How did you fix the the problem of the fast blinking from the turn signals?
Here is what I did CLICK Here.
Let us know if there is a better solution.

In my case, I bought all the bulbs on ebay. It cost me about $50. I have also replaced the trunk bulb by a blue LED ... Love it.

Well, I decided to leave the flasher problem alone for now. If a cop gives me a fix-it ticket, maybe then I will do something about it. I figure I'm not distracting any drivers so no harm done. But I have heard that you can replace the flasher unit which will accomplish the same thing as what you hooked up. It looks fairly easy to get to, just a matter or removing the tupperware. I have a grease fitting tool on the way from Italy, and when it gets here I may order the flasher unit and take care of both while I have the tupperware off.

From what I have heard, you can not replace the flasher unit on the MP3. The flasher is integrated in the ECU which means that it will cost a lot to replace it.

Oh, I didn't know that. I saw your photos on Modern Vespa with the resistor hooked up, but I don't feel condifent enough of my skills to try that. My mechanic charges $85 an hour, so I'll hold off on doing that unless a cop forces me to fix it...LOL.

I have noticed that in bright sun they aren't as noticeable, but I suppose there is always a down side to everything.
